Work The Shirt Challenge Outfit 1 : Focus On Florals

This past weekend I took part in a “Work The Shirt” challenge with Opry Mills Mall where 4 different themes were chosen, and I had to style the shirt around the four given themes.  I love a challenge that pushes my creativity.

For the first outfit, I focused on florals and picked up these amazing floral Guess heels from Off Broadway Shoes within the mall.  The shoes were only $30, there were no questions that I was going to purchase them.

I styled the shoes with the chambray shirt from Loft with a blue skirt from J Crew factory.  I went with a monochromatic look so the shoes would stand out.   I apologize for the wrinkles in my skirt. I wore the skirt to work and of course by the time I had my shoot it was good and wrinkly.

I will be posting for the next 4 days to showcase the 4 different ways I styled this shirt and how I incorporated each theme into the look.
