When the weather starts getting hot I always think maxi dresses and summer dresses. This floral sheer maxi skirt has become my go to as well. I could see myself dressing the skirt up, as I did with a black bodysuit in today’s look. For a more dressed down look, I would just pair it with a tank or a more casual top.
I can also see myself styling this skirt for a black tie event. Either a black tie wedding or a night at the symphony. A night at the symphony is on my to do list for 2016.
Can we talk about the return of the bodysuit. I remember owning a few in high school and then getting rid of them. Sometimes I wonder if certain items really do go out of style or if they just become uncool. I will not be getting rid of any of my recently acquired bodysuits any time soon. I will just be one of the uncool kids, until they come become cool again. Toyshop has a few that I have on my wishlist.
The skirt came with a mini black insert with some snaps that attach to the skirt. This makes the two pieces look attached. For some the inner skirt may be a little short, you could totally replace it with a half slip. Nordstrom has a bunch of slips to pick from.
