Today’s look work wear is all business in all black. I am not sure if its just the winter or the pregnancy, but I have been gravitating towards dark colors and a lot of grey lately. I just did laundry yesterday and my whole basket was black dresses. Quite disturbing if you ask me.
This look is definitely one of my favorite looks so far. I found this dress at Asos and knew it would be great to wear while pregnant and after pregnancy. I ordered the dress in a tall because most regular non maternity items tend to get pushed up by the belly. Things you learn when you put on a non maternity t-shirt and your husband looks at you like you are crazy because half your belly is hanging out.
I styled the dress with my one and only faux leather moto jacket (also style here). I had been on the hunt for a great looking and great fitting faux leather jacket, when I got this one in the mail and tried it on, I instantly fell in love. The fabric is soft and it looks like real leather. Sometimes with faux leather items, when you look at them you can tell because they tend to be shiny.
Since the whole look was all business in all black, I decided to add a statement necklace as my standout piece with the all black look.
