Black and white for the office is definitely a look I go for at least once or twice a week (as seen here and here). The blouse and the pants are from Zara, which is one of my all time favorite places for reasonably priced work clothes.
I picked up these white darted trousers and this frilly feminine blouse. The pants are great, however, the only issue is that if I am not wearing my Spanx they really show my mom belly. The blouse is slightly sheer so I wore a tank underneath. The blouse has just the right amount of ruffles and detail. It would be great to pair with a faux leather skirt to tone down the leather look for the office.
This bag was a great find at a local thrift store. When I first saw it, the first thing that came to mind was “Granny bag.” I looked at it and walked off to look at skirts and shoes. I kept thinking about the bag as I walked around the store. Afraid that someone else would pick it up, I went back and decided to just walk around the store with it in hand. After about an hour of perusing and picking up a few items, I went ahead and bought the bag. I paid approximately $15 for it. Which I actually complained about because to me, that is just too much in a thrift store. Turns out this little granny bag of mine looks exactly like a Chloe bag going for thousands.
