In today’s post I am showing you how to style a faux leather skirt for the office. Zara is my go to for faux leather skirts. The main reason being, their skirts do not have the shiny faux leather look. I own a similar skirt in black (styled here). I paired this faux leather skirt with a chunky knit sweater with some lace detail. I love the femininity of the lace, which to me, always draw the focus away from the faux leather skirt.
When I saw this sweater online, I knew I had to have it. I stalked it, till it came back in stock. The lace detail and the covered black buttons were enough to make me fall in love with it. It’s cropped and is great paired with high waisted skirts, jeans, and pants. I have a pair of black wide leg pants that I know would look great with the sweater.
The bag (now sold out) is an Asos find. They have some great bags perfect for work (seen here).
I am sure some of you also noticed that I completely chopped off my hair. I went to see my stylist and had her chop it all off after a failed hair style. I had been natural for over 7 years and for some reason I decided that I wanted to have my hair permed. This is the look I was going for and it was a total fail. My husband just shook his head. I absolutely love my short hair.
