Office outfits can start to get boring after a while. Today’s look is one office outfit that I probably would have never thought of putting together years ago. Every time I think of a leather skirt or in this case, a faux leather skirt, I always think dominatrix.
This skirt is one that I have styled before (seen here) and was one of my many Zara finds. A lot of my office outfit pieces, especially skirts are from Zara. Loft is my go to for blouses and pants. Zara pants are always hit or miss for me. Some pants (seen here) fit perfectly and other pants just do not look right when I try them on.
Today’s office outfit, I paired my faux leather pencil skirt with a chunky knit sweater (seen here), leopard heels, and edgy studded bag. When pairing leopard print and faux leather, I had to be a little careful to not make this look too costumey or lady of the night like. I made sure my heels were not too high.
For those considering a similar look to add to their office outfit rotation, I would also check your Company’s dress code. Some places, believe or not, explicitly state that no leather is allowed. I worked for a public accounting firm that did not allow leather.
