How We’ve Been Staying Active While At Home

In today’s post I am sharing some tips on how to stay active while at home in an effort to try and not go stir crazy. 

Tip 1 – Exercise Outdoors 

We have been trying to get lots of fresh air. Our dog walks have become a family affair. Our poor dog has been getting lots of walks since we are all home.  Some days he is excited about it and other days we get a few houses from ours and he is ready to head back home.  

In an effort to stay stylish on walks, I got a pair of sneakers with some leopard flair from Famous Footwear. If you know me well, you know I love leopard print (as seen here). 

Tip 2 – Set Up A Home Gym 

We have equipment that has been sitting idle for the last few years and we have slowly been dusting it off. I cant remember the last time I had picked up a kettlebell, but we are slowly trying to add some strength training to our daily exercise. 


Tip 3 – Break Up Sitting Time 

I spend a lot of time sitting because of my day job. I have been making a conscious effort to get up at last every hour and walk around the house.
