I stopped at Dollar General to pick up a few items to keep our son entertained this summer. Did you know that Dollar General has a new digital app where you can create your shopping list and save your digital coupons? It makes shopping at Dollar General Stores easy because you can look up your coupons using your phone number. Another thing to remember is that Dollar General has $5 off $25 on Saturdays!
I thought I would share three things to do with kids this summer using some of our items we picked up at Dollar General.
Chalk – We used our chalk to draw on our driveway and our sidewalk. It is always fun and a great time for our toddler to learn colors and shapes as we draw different shapes. Our neighbors can see our outdoor artwork on their walks down our street.
Bubbles – Bubbles will keep our 2 year old busy for at least 30minutes to an hour. He loves blowing bubbles and he loves to have me blow the bubbles while he tries to pop them. It’s always a fun outdoor activity.
Games/Puzzles – On hot days when we do not feel like playing outside we have games to play indoors. Our toddler loves puzzles and so I picked up some Paw Patrol puzzles. The puzzle set came with 4 different puzzles.
He also loves Mickey Mouse and I found a Mickey magic ink coloring book. As he colors, the magic ink marker reveals a rainbow of colors.
